Body and fins yellowish or yellowish brown with numerous horizontal, thin bluish stripes and lines, extending onto central ¾ of caudal fin.

Size:

Up to 43 cm TL.

Distribution:

Indo–West Pacific in tropical waters.

Habitat:

Coral reefs, mainly in clear water from 30 to 70 m depth.
